I am also interested in locating a TPM for my M5A97 R2.0. This is only for my personal use and both machines are using the FX-8350 (M5A99FX Pro R2.0) and FX-6300 (M5A97 R2.0), plus the SuperMicro one I received from Amazon doesnt get detected (for testing purposes). Luckily this makes my setup of mentioned motherboard together with Intel i7-3770K and 32 GB DDR3 RAM less obsolete. Ive gone with mid-range Asus on my last few builds (the FX-8350 system Im posting this from is hosted by an Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0), and have not regretted it. The ones I looked up are the TPM-L R2.0 and the FW/3.19 and nothing. Asus M5A99FX PRO R2. I didn’t try that yet but based on all the feedback it seems working pretty well. M5A99FX PRO R2.0 (Cant unrar BIOS update).

With my less than 4 year old motherboard (Asus P8Z77-V PRO Thunderbolt), I can upgrade to few fast non-NVMe starages on PCI-E but it won’t be as fast and efficient as NVMe. No single new feature ever comes to old motherboard BIOS. I tried everything that its on this forum and online, other version from other models, all the fixes and patches but no luck.

Just like in the smartphone market, most motherboards usually receive few BIOS updates within one year and that’s it. Hi guys I got an old M5A99FX PRO R2.0 mobo for a lot of time now and i want to re-use AiSuite I used the software a lot with 8.1 and 10 back when it was still working but after the Spectre/Meltdown patch in Win 10 we all know what happened.
